Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped walnuts optional

Method
 

  1. Mash bananas and mix in butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  2. Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips or walnuts if using.
  4. Pour into a lined pan and bake until set on top.
  5. Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes
