Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, plain or Italian
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • cooking spray or butter for baking dish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix ranch seasoning, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Brush each chicken breast with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Press each breast firmly into the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides thoroughly.
  5. Arrange in the baking dish with space between each piece.
  6. Bake for 22 to 28 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Pound chicken to even thickness for consistent cooking.
  • Pat chicken dry before coating so the crust sticks properly.
  • Broil for 2 to 3 minutes at the end for extra browning.
  • Air fryer option: 375°F for 18 to 20 minutes, flip halfway.
